As I read and read and read and read

I am coming to an understanding

Imagine looking at a shelf of 100 books and you get to choose ONE to read.
Really imagine it - look at all of those spines, maybe you can skim all the back covers
When you choose one, you don't feel guilty for the other 99.  You're happy, excited, thrilled to dive into that book YOU chose.

Now imagine having a new list of 100 books shoved at you everyday.

Would you imagine your selection process changing...just a little?

Don't fret over rejections. Especially don't fret over form rejections. 
Someday someone will walk by, skim over that list and say:  Hey, that one looks interesting...

There isn't much I can do to make my book grow legs and jump out at people.  All I can do is put my idea out there (clean, neat, and professionally) and wait for someone to pick it from the list.

Right now I'm proud enough just to have a product to put on that list.
