So I'm coming to a conclusion...
Adivce from unpublished writers are FULL of "shoulds, musts, and have tos" Whereas advice from the published tend to have a lot of "This is how I go about it, but you're going to find your own way".
I like learning from everyone and anyone I can, but bottom line is that I will always place my bets with the published. Learn the mechanics, and then BE FREE.
