Guess why haven't been here? Because I've been WRITING. Diving in to those library books was just about the smartest idea ever, and things are really coming together (as far as that "voice" element of novel writing is concerned.) I mean, I understand now, and I've got it goin' on, I just don't know if it qualifies as "good" voice yet. That will take a good slam down from the writing professor to judge that I guess. But my inner voice is telling me that if I'm actually quite enjoying it, I just might have something. Because truth be told, my previous writing was boring me. Parts of it. I can't hate myself completely.
Becoming a truly justified fan of Stephen King and JK Rowling's writing btw. Not just liking them cause I like the movies....eh...
AND I have flipped back to Project #1 status. A convo w/ my husband concluded with the principle that I ought to finish what I started to before going forward. The break was good of course and 110% necessary to clear my head AND rejuvinate. Rejuvination is good. Very Good.
