So I'm learning what I'm sure is a common lesson among us newbies...writing that second novel is H.A.R.D.
Sacrificing every free moment (and some non-free ones) was worth it when I had so many dreams fueling me. But now that that first book has come and gone with dreams still wanting...well...speaks for itself, right?
I keep telling myself this is the time to really prove it: Am I in this or not? Do I have a true PASSION for this or not? Is the fact that I even have to ask myself those questions a bad, bad sign?
How do you do it? How do you keep your head up and your fingers flying through that second, no-prospects-in-sight novel?
