A dark room. One candle. Wax melts in slick streams sliding to
a puddle.
One chair at the table. One boy. The one inch flame lights
his face.
A laugh. He laughs until he throws his head back. Laughs as laughter
makes him cry. Quietly, finally, closes his book.
